Interesting points Adim. I should also point of that one should pay attention of the development of the other Boleyn girl. Inherently all women want to be good (I actually feel all humans want to be good). But then certain societal pressures can result in the development of deception (another case is the joker in The Dark Knight). In this film Natalie Portman's character developed the way it did because of family pressure and betrayal. So it just goes to show you that you should never pressure or betray anyone because it can lead to dire consequences. And women especially play this game quite well.

Very very interesting perspective Adim. I must say, I have seen this movie twice (both times I was very tired & fell asleep for a small portion, but regardless lol) I found it... I don't know I really couldn't decide what to make of it. I definitely didn't find it Oscar worthy, I won't lie to you lol.

BUT I do think you bring up some very valid points & makes me change my opinion a bit. I agree with what you said about women, and not just because I am one and love relishing in the fact that a man has admitted our somewhat superiority, but because there is truth behind it. I think one important thing you did not mention is that only the women who KNOW & understand they have this power, are actually able to use it. Just like not all men are strong & powerful, not all women are cunning & deceptive. But perhaps the fraction of women that have harnassed this power is smaller than that of men, hence their empowerment... or it could be that physical strength is more attainable than mental strength... I don't know, but is definitely something worth pondering.

All power can be used for good and bad, but it is the individual and the circumstance which determines its use. And it is the intelligent ones who choose to use it to their benefit...

that's right! women rule ;)

and in fact it is amazing how manipulative women have been throughout time--who really "wears" the pants.

and in some cultures women are seen as the leaders.
