In 2009 so far there has been nothing really good to watch. In fact the only movie that has dragged me to the theaters recently was Watchmen which I thought was really good. Well you really have to know a lot about the book previously to know what to expect cause otherwise it is going to look really whack.

Well I was 20 minutes early to Watchmen so I got to see some previews, it so happens that all the movies that caught my eye seem to be coming out in May. I guess its gonna be a good month.

Star Trek

I was sold by the first trailer, I have never been a Star Trek fan. I watched a couple episodes when I was a kid but nothing that left an imprint in my mind, so I was a little surprised myself when I found a liking to the trailer. Another selling point was that the movie is directed by my boy J.J. Abrams. That is the creator of Lost and Fringe, two of my best shows on TV, that was all I needed to know.

Wolverine

This is one is different. I have always been an X-Men fan and Wolverine has always been my favorite character. I even read the book I think this movie is based on, hopefully they will not disappoint. I must confess the trailer shows signs of cheesiness but I have the audacity of hope and believe something good will come out of it.

Terminator 4

Ok I know, The 4th terminator, are they not done yet? Well I have been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles and if this movie is what I think it is this might be the best 4th installment of a movie you have ever seen. The trailer seems promising and the story line to, I hope the execution is great.

Transformer 2

This movie seems flaky, why didn’t they stop at one. I am only going to watch this movie in the cinemas if Megan Fox shows that kid from part 1 some more loving. You know you waited for that too .
